Our expert upholsterers use the highest standards of traditional skills backed by the latest technology to carry out a full onsite re-upholster of your therapy, beauty or healthcare equipment. Beautelle's onsite re-upholstery service ensures that your equipment will not be out of service for any length of time with all processes carried out in the treatment centre, salon room or spa with minimal fuss.

Ensuring the safety of your equipment such as medical couches, plinths and treatment chairs or even operator chairs is vital. Re-upholstering may be all that's required if you have any scrage marks or slits in your couch or chair vinyl covering that presents a serious infection control hazard. Treating this quickly and efficiently with our re-covering service limits the chances of infections and keeps your equipment safe and hygienic.

The Process

Our trained upholsterer /technician will arrive on site with a mobile air compressor, staple gun, foam padding and vinyl material to carry out the following procedure:-

• Carefully disassemble your table /chair and remove all existing upholstery down to the bare frame – this is important to ensure any contaminated padding is removed along with the top vinyl

• Inspect the frame and tighten all joints where necessary

• Replace all old foam with high resilience anti-combustion foam

• Finally, re-upholster your couch or chair in a hydrophobic, anti-microbial vinyl fabric (>we have large selection of vinyl colours to choose from)

Beautelle Extend Manipulation Collection

Beautelle Expands Helmsley Manipulation Plinth Range
Due to the success of the HELMSLEY PLINTH SERIES and in particular the popularity of the manipulation models with Physiotherapists, Chiropractors and Osteopaths, Beautelle have launched additional new exciting models to the range.


These new models extend the choice for manipulation and rehabilitation therapists and include many multi-functional and exclusive designs.

British Beautelle Bucks the Trend with expansion…
Beautelle has announced their re-location to larger new premises this January.
The move accommodates an expansion to their manufacturing operation and the opening of a brand new factory showroom this spring.
Spring 2009 will also see the growth of Beautelle Ltd with the launch of a new sub-division, Meditelle. The additional division will extend their existing range of medical products and provide British made high-quality specialist equipment to the medical sector. This is a ‘win win’ for both therapy and medical customers who can be assured that all equipment is custom built to the very highest British safety standards.

Sir Alan Sugar urges shoppers to Buy British …
Sir Alan Sugar, the businessman and star of The Apprentice, have urged shoppers to 'buy British' to protect jobs during the recession.
Following a summit of business leaders at 10 Downing Street including Sir Richard Branson and Theo Paphitis, Sir Alan said: "We must buy products that are made here... supporting a British firm creates work for someone. Many foreign companies don't even pay taxes in the UK. So if anyone is thinking of buying stuff try to hunt around to support a British firm as in our little way we're creating work for someone down the line."
He also called for more support for small businesses. "When our economy is facing tough challenges, it's incumbent on us all to do what we can to stimulate homegrown businesses".
Sir Richard said: "I agree we need to make sure today's entrepreneurs have the best support to beat the current challenges and grow. These companies are the engine room of the British economy and the hothouse for new ideas and new jobs."

We employ local skilled people and source the majority of our components locally from other small British businesses. We need to nurture our manufacturing skills and keep our manufacturing prowess, once so envied by the rest of the world. Its not all doom and gloom, we (Beautelle) have battled against cheaper foreign imports over the past five years or so, but are slowly 'turning the tide', so much so that we are currently moving to larger newer premises in Birmingham and are launching a new Medical Equipment sub division (Meditelle) this Spring. We are also starting to see an increase in other countries wanting to buy our British made equipment too. Its important to both the local economy and the Great British economy that small firms like us survive.
